Kate began her studies in Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University before turning her attention to illustration. She graduated with a Masters from Central St Martins in 2002 and has been actively exhibiting and working to commission.

Kate's art practice combines painting, mixed media, textiles and embroidery to create 'ironic iconic' imagery. This is alternative craft. It is no soft option, but is thought provoking, witty and enjoyable.
